Well well many of our Whangamata girlies headed off to Auckland to dance and scream at Reece Mastin. Tell us all about it. Was it worth the trip? Is he worthy of the hype? Let us all hear about your trip.
I went to the Reece Mastin concert on Saturday night!!!!!! It was AMAZING!!! The sound was incredible and my ears were ringing for days after! Reece is an awesome singer and is soooooo worthy of all the hype! He sang all the songs off his album and two new ones which are really cool!! When we got there Tiarna, Kimi (my cuzzie from Auckland)and I freaked out because there were soooo many people waiting outside!! (mostly teenage girls!!:P)We had amazing seats(thanks Dad!)and we were quite close!! Young men society (off xfactor aussie, like Reece)opened for him and they were cool! It was so cool and funny when he took his shirt off, you should have heard the screams!!:) it was my first real concert, (hi-5 and the wiggles don't count!!) and it was the best first concert EVER!!! it was worth the trip because i hung out with my cuzzie and some fam for the day and then went to the super concert at night! Reece sang perfectly and it is defiantly an experience i will never, ever forget!!!! GO LIL ROCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):) by Kelsey P :)
Wow Kelsey, this sounded like a great concert. As I was driving back from Auckland, I heard that they had just closed a street because there were so many screaming One Direction fans outside the hotel. It all reminds me of the days of the Beatles (not that I am that old) or U2 (yes I am that old)...Michael Jackson was the same!! Why do you think teenage girls in particular get driven so wild by pop stars? Mind you, if I get tickets for Madonna in Sydney next year you will hear the screams from Whangamata!!!!
